I am Siserou. I work on the internet and raise two of my grandchildren. I love Christmas, but in a specific way. I can't stand the commercialness, but I
do enjoy going for a ride in the car to see everyone's lights. I can't stand the greed and pressure imposed on everyone to buy more and more gifts. Even with lists,
it makes it hard to shop. Trying to find the right size, the right color, the right style. Who can stand it?
Yet, I know we still must buy Christmas gifts. So I sat here thinking what would be the best compromise and I decided that old fashioned gifts like pajamas, food, teddy bears, and coloring books. One thing, though, that I am not professing is to start making these things. My best Christmas picks are not about homemade gifts. The reasons for that are several. First, many people just do not have that creative talent to do so. Second, the thought of making a gift, even when creative, is enough to make many people cringe and run away from Christmas. Third, buying gifts often includes direct delivery so the surprise is great for the person receiving. Lastly, buying Christmas gifts on the internet is fun, time saving, and all the little ones can help to make the decision.
Finally, I have added a few updated items like computer software because in this day and age, it is a necessity for children.
